A Neighborhood With Deep School History
Aragona Village has an unusually strong connection to its neighborhood school. Because Virginia Beach City Public Schools draws attendance zone lines by address rather than by neighborhood name, and because this neighborhood has seen real changes to its school buildings over the years, I always tell buyers and sellers here to verify current zoning directly rather than assume based on an older map or a neighbor's experience. Long-standing residents in particular sometimes reference schools or boundaries that have since changed.
Elementary, Middle and High School Zoning

Elementary zoning can vary block by block within a neighborhood this large and this old, especially given the closure of the original Aragona Elementary building decades ago.
